I’ve been feeling a vibrant color palette lately. Something to combat the blues, a sign of hope, renewal and rebirth.
My neighborhood warblers signify all these things, and the relationship they have with their surroundings is something I admire immensely. I could watch them all day if they would let me.
This statement neckpiece features a rare yellow apatite blossom and a sweet orange-crowned warbler (gold wire and fine silver cloisonné), along side fine silver cloisonné powderpuff leaves. To finish off the piece I included fiery opal and a textured and enameled fine silver drop.
The way the necklace is suspended is a balancing act of enamel, stone and sculpted sterling silver elements.
